Mindy and I moved out of our apartment in Evanston, into a new apartment in Gurnee, IL. Having a dog in the city just wasn’t working out very well so we will see if Mindy can deal with the longer commute to the hospital. Hopefully the next move, which we expect to be to a nice single family home, will be our last for quite a while.
Every other summer the Dawson clan gets together and rents a beach house in Sunset Beach, NC. We had a great time this August, it was very nice to catch up with my family and all the kids.
The highlights in my mind were:
It was an all around great time. I was glad to have Mindy there with me as she is the first person that I have brought on our strictly family vacation.

Some of you may think this is the 7th sign of the apocalypse. Others may feel like they just took a full frontal Care Bear stare.
In my opinion, this site is pure genius.

Sadly, I had some real fun with this. If the winningest kittens section doesn’t make you smile you may have no soul, and the losers are pretty funny as well.
Actually they had their wedding in Champaign, IL and they are now enjoying a honeymoon in Maui. It was a very beautiful wedding and I was honored to be a part of it. I guess the torch has been officially passed to Mindy and I.

In a moment of inspiration I decided that I would get all of my old photos back onto this website. So check them out if you forgot what we looked like back in 2003 and 2004.
After working with Gallery version 2.0, I decided to roll-back to use Gallery version 1.4.2. I found Gallery 1 much easier to install and use, although as always YMMV.
A brand new camera is enroute to Evanston so hopefully I can add some shots to the gallery soon.
