Mindy and I moved out of our apartment in Evanston, into a new apartment in Gurnee, IL. Having a dog in the city just wasn’t working out very well so we will see if Mindy can deal with the longer commute to the hospital. Hopefully the next move, which we expect to be to a nice single family home, will be our last for quite a while.
Etsy is a really neat site to buy and sell handmade items. I think that flash navigation options are really fascinating. I enjoyed the color picker navigation and both of the time machine options. It is good to see experimentation and innovation on the ‘net. Compare your experience with Etsy to an Ebay search for similar items and see which one you enjoy more.

Those hard earned tax dollars have proven useful today, as the existence of Dark Matter is proven. A group of astronomers observed two galaxies colliding with each other using Nasa’s Chandra X-ray observatory as well as the Hubble space telescope and they were able to conclude through these instruments that dark matter indeed exists.
Some interesting things about dark matter:
1) It is not made of the common building block particles that normal matter is made from ( protons, electrons, etc…)
2) It does NOT give off, absorb, or reflect light ( hence the DARK )
3) It does not interact with normal matter. ( Dark Matter could be passing through you, your computer, and your desk at this exact moment )
It is amazing that they were able to detect such an elusive substance.
Every other summer the Dawson clan gets together and rents a beach house in Sunset Beach, NC. We had a great time this August, it was very nice to catch up with my family and all the kids.

It was an all around great time. I was glad to have Mindy there with me as she is the first person that I have brought on our strictly family vacation.
